To give you real peace of mind if a home emergency occurs – we will arrange for a repairer to assess the situation and carry out any emergency repairs. We will pursue claims arising from:
- Burst pipes
- Break in or vandalism
- Storm damage and resultant ingress of water
- Impact damage by falling trees, a vehicle, plane or aerial debris
- Failure of your domestic utility supplies, blockage/flooding/breaking of drains or sewers, or failure of your hot water supply
- Total failure of your central heating system during adverse weather conditions
- Leakage resulting from smashing a toilet bowl or cistern
- Subsidence, heave or landslip
Family Legal Protection
We will pay the legal fees in order to pursue civil claims on your behalf where there are good prospects of success up to a limit of £50,000. We will pursue claims arising from:
- Your death or personal injury
- An infringement of your legal rights arising from your ownership or occupation of your home
- Any dispute arising from the sale or purchase of your home
- Property Protection - Civil actions relating to material property, which is owned by you or for which you are responsible, following:
- Any event, which causes or could cause physical damage to such material property
- Any nuisance or trespass provided that you are responsible for the first £250 of every claim
- The purchase, hire, leasing or sale of personal or private goods, or the provision of services for your private or personal use
- Disputes arising from a contract of employment entered into by you for your work as an employee
